CrossFit Games Open 2017

The CrossFit Open 2017 is getting close. The Open workouts are announced 1 per week for 5 weeks. This is a community based event that will test your abilities both physically and mentally. For some, it is the beginning of finding “The Fittest On Earth”. For 99% of us, this is a chance to cheer on your friends and test your fitness.

CrossFit, Inc will announce a workout live on Thursday evening at 7pm. Participants have until the following Monday to conduct the workout with a judge observing and submit their scores on

CFNS will host live announcement watch parties starting at 6:30pm every Thursday during the 5 week event. We will select a few athletes from the box to test out the Open WODs right after the announcement (We are looking for volunteers before we get to the voluntolds). We will host the Open WODs for everyone else on Saturdays from 9-11am.

-Registration is $20. The fee is paid to CrossFit, Inc. No payment is made to CrossFit Natural State.
-First workout is announced on February 23, 2017
-Saturday open events will start at 9am.
-No Saturday team workouts from February 25th to March 18th.
-Everyone can do it. There are RX, Scaled, Masters, Masters Scaled, Teens, and Teen scaled divisions.
-To submit a score, your workout must be judged by trainer or peer.
-No membership or drop in fee required to perform The Open at CFNS.
